I didn’t set out to become a humanitarian worker. However, through examples in my life and my fair share of near death experiences, from a severe gunshot wound to a horrifying car accident, I've been fortunate. These events have given me a new perspective on life.
One of the biggest influencers in my life was my father Ulysses Tuff, a man who dedicated his life to making other people’s lives better. A husband, father, pastor, and ordained Apostle; his missionary work spanned locally and globally to places such as Egypt, Australia, Republic of Latvia, Great Britain, African Nations, Caribbean Countries, Mexico, Philippines, Ukraine, and Russia. His service inspired my missionary work, with the Giver of Life Educational Institutions, Inc., which aided to build schools in Mexico and the Philippines.
After the sudden loss of my younger brother to a massive heart attack, I became an Ambassador for the American Heart Association. It's been my mission to bring awareness to heart disease and I participate in the annual Heart Walk in his memory. A recipient of the American Heart Association Lifestyle Change Award, my WHY is to "Be the Change" for myself and others to positively impact lives.
