Forrest Tuff and a class of community, civic, and political leaders graduated from the 2019 FBI Citizens Academy in Atlanta, Georgia. The graduation ceremony took place at Napoleon's Grill Vista Room in Decatur, Georgia - 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm.

The FBI Citizens Academy is an engaging six-to-eight-week program that gives business, religious, civic, and community leaders an inside look at the FBI. Classes meet in the evening at the FBI field office. The mission of the FBI Citizens Academy is to foster a greater understanding of the role of federal law enforcement in the community through frank discussion and education.

Candidates are nominated by FBI employees, former Citizens Academy graduates, and community leaders. Participants are selected by the special agent in charge of the local FBI field office.

The 2019 graduates will have the opportunity to visit the Federal Bureau of Investigation's law enforcement training and research center in Quantico, Virginia. The tour will take place on Wednesday, Oct. 2, 2019 from 9:00 am - 4:30 pm.

"This is an amazing program with amazing leaders looking to make a difference in Georgia," says Tuff "I am glad to be apart of this group."
