Atlanta, GA – February 21, 2015 - All roads led to 1611 Ellsworth Industrial Blvd in Atlanta as E3 Magazine presented its 4th Annual Spirit of Excellence Awards. Forrest Tuff, CEO of One Vision Productions, received the Community Service Award for his leadership, volunteerism, and philanthropy throughout Georgia.

The black tie celebration recognized admirable leaders who have established and nurtured excellence in 16 professional genres. The categories awarded include faith, business, politics, entertainment, and humanitarianism, among others. In addition, there was a male Spirit of Excellence awardee and a female Elite Lady awardee.

 

Other honorees included 100 Black Men CEO John Grant; Urban League of Atlanta CEO Nancy Flake Johnson; CEO of TWD, INC. Thomas Dortch; Former President Columbus Georgia NAACP Edward DuBose; Internet Business Strategist Chris Curtis Crawford; DeKalb County Judge Tangela Barrie; Founder of Life Center Ministries Dr. Mary Crum; Assistant Principal ­‐ Bibb County School District Dr. Carmalita Jones Dillard; Grammy, Dove and Stellar Winning singer/songwriter Billy Dorsey; Renowned Dj Spinderella; Founder of New Birth Missionary Baptist Church Bishop Eddie L. Long; Grammy nominated singer/songwriter Deborah Hightower; CEO of iYAGO Entertainment Group Janks Morton; and Musical Group DyNasti.

The host of the evening will be Tyler Perry’s House of Payne and Love Thy Neighbor Star Palmer Williams and Actor/Producer Carl Anthony Payne (AKA Cole from the TV Sitcom Martin). Musical entertainment by American Idol Finalist Frenchie Davis. Dr. Ambassador Juanita Bynum will be making a special appearance. “I am honored to award so many wonderful individuals, who are true pillars within the communities. It is our privilege to give credit where credit is due.” states Amy Holmes, President/CEO of E3 Magazine and visionary of the Spirit of Excellence Awards.

 

A portion of ticket sells from the Spirit of Excellence Awards will benefit the Christy Sims Foundation and the Lupus Foundation Chapter of Georgia.
